Colin has taught instrumental lessons and songwriting workshops for 20 years in Central Vermont and beyond. He has an excellent reputation as a teacher with many references, having taught more than 900 students. He is a Juried Artist and member of the Vermont Arts Council and is available for workshops, concerts and residencies year-round.

Colin has worked as a mentor, consultant, and private instructor through The Summit School, Community College of Vermont, Johnson State College, Vermont Summer Jazz camp, Heartsenter Summer arts program, The Vermont Midi Project, and many other residencies and workshops. Colin served for 3 years as adjunct faculty at Goddard College in Plainfield Vermont, and taught for nearly 6 years at Harwood High School, in Duxbury, VT. He has also taught through Twinfield High School, Marshfield; Crossett Brook Middle School in Duxbury; and St. Monica's School in Barre. Colin leads an ongoing Songwriting Workshop at the Summit School in Montpelier VT. Private lessons and consultations are occasionally available. Contact Colin for rates.
