Colin has taught instrumental lessons and songwriting workshops for 17 years in Central Vermont and beyond. He has an excellent reputation as a teacher with many references, having taught more than 850 students. He is a Juried Artist and member of the Vermont Arts Council and is available for workshops, concerts and residencies year-round.

Colin has worked as a mentor, consultant, and private instructor through Community College of Vermont, Johnson State College, Vermont Summer Jazz camp, Heartsenter Summer arts program, The Vermont Midi Project, and many other residencies and workshops. Colin served for 3 years as adjunct faculty at Goddard College in Plainfield Vermont, and still works periodically as advisor and 2nd reader to undergraduate students. Colin taught for nearly 6 years at Harwood High School, in Duxbury, VT. He has also taught through Twinfield High School, Marshfield; Crossett Brook Middle School in Duxbury; and St. Monica's School in Barre. Private lessons and consultations are occasionally available.
